MOTORCYCLE ENGINE
The 984cc V-Twin in the Buell XB9R was a derivitive of the Harley-Davidson 1203cc XL engine.
What I did
I lengthened the connecting rods and removed weight from the flywheel to balance the cranking assembly for this high rev, short stroke application. This project was my first design that made it into production. I loved it so much that I bought one. To learn more, check out this great review at motorcyclistonline.com
