Motorcycle Frame

The pre-2009 Harley-Davidson Touring frame was comprised of over 90 parts including bent tubing and weldments and was difficult to manufacture.

WHAT DID I DO?

I modularized the 2009 touring frame into 40 parts consisting of forgings and castings that made it stronger and easier to build. I designed the tail forgings to match the fender line for a cleaner look and successfully lobbied to have a vestigial exhaust pipe removed to reduce weight and improve rear cylinder cooling.  To learn more, check out this great review at cycleworld.com
